NexGen Manufacturing Systems, Inc. was founded by Charles Davis, who has worked with CAD/CAM for over twenty years.
Mr. Davis has operated his own protoype machine shop in San Diego, written several widely used books on practical CAD/CAM applications and has helped over three hundred companies implement CAD/CAM technology with training, technical support, and post processor customization.

My Personal

I have worked in manufacturing for over 20 years, including owning my own prototype machine shop for 12 years in the telecom, aerospace, and consumer products industries. I've worked on everything from skateboards, to cell phones, to heart values, to Predator drones.
During that time I've helped hundreds of companies, from one-man job shops to Fortune 50 corporations, implement CAM/CNC. I've taught classes for industry, San Diego City College, and the US Navy. I've even written a few books on the subject. If you do it, I've probably done it myself or helped someone else do it or figure out how to do it better.
I know what it is like to work all night to meet a deadline, to program, setup and run a part. I know what it's like to make payroll, rent, and machine tool payments. I know how much an end mill costs, and how machine down time kills your profits.
